Winter Gardening in Idaho
OFFLINE

Posted On 01/18/2009 16:09:37 by PaulThompson
Today I began thinking I might be ready for a home gown tomato and fresh lettuce. That won't be happening at the local grocery store so I spent some time in my garden shed preparing for my first winter garden.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep the temperature in the shed warm enough with the one base board heater I have but I'll give it a try. I may be eating fresh home grown salad by late February and then with tomatoes by mid March.
I'll add more pictures along the way as I document my winter garden.

Give us your how-to steps as you go. Fresh greens sound pretty good this foggy cold January.
