and are God's way of thinning the grazer population, ensuring only the fitest will breed to continue the species.  We need predators to maintain the natural balance. 

Hunters just for trophies kill the biggest, the best, the high end of the gene pool and remove these superior animals from the breeding population for sport.  There must be a happy medium where we can co-exist with all God's creatures.

I could not agree with you more! I believe some of the wolves should be turned loose in urban areas where these ideas seem to orginate. That way we could get rid of some of those short pant wearing, knobby skinny kneed, over educated knuckle heads. They seem to have too much money and not enough to do except come up with strange thoughts and demands the cause problems for folks removed from them. If they like wolves they should adopt some and let them play with their children.

You know it is the same with the folks that want to save the wild horses. They should adopt some and not expect the pubilc coffers to pay the continuing bills to feed, house and vet them. Horses are not native to this country- so I ask why are they allowed to run on our public domain lands. No profit there unlike the cattle business even though they don't pay what they should.

If we strive to make things like nature had them then we all must leave and let nature take its course. That means we all go back where our ancestors came from, I suppose. You see they had their wolves under control many years prior to this country.  Then we could strive to turn those places back to nature and the human race would have to commit suicide!  OR We can let nature take its course as things now stand. There are so many humans that an epidemic or atomic reaction will put the animals back in control. So, please be patient all will work out the way you want it! In the meantime, lets hunt and fish, if that is what cranks you handle.  Is that a happy medium?
