MVOS mission is to educate the public on how to grow orchids and have fun doing it.  We will show them how to care for, repot, and display thier orchids so that they and everyone else can enjoy the beautiful plants regardless of the environment in which they live.

We wil have speakers to cover some of the special orchids, how to sessions, hopefully some hands on sessions, and get togethers just for socializing, such as picnics, viewing greenhouses, an orchid auction , and a Christmas party.

We will also emphasize the need for conservatism in preserving the orchids in the wild.
